CoolDives.com – British Columbia’s Scuba Diving Information Source

CoolDives Newsletter #1Hello divers, and welcome to our first newsletter.

We had planned to send out newsletters more frequently, but with the addition of our scuba diving blog page, we found that most people kept up-to-date by subscribing to the blog.

2008 was a tremendous first year for the Cooldives/Best-Scuba-Diving-Vacations-In-British-Columbia website!

In less than 8 months, we have become the premiere independent source of dive-related information for British Columbia. Thanks for your help and support!

2009 is already shaping up to be another fantastic year, with viewership increasing daily. We now also have dive operators contacting us to help put dive specials and promotions together with them. Watch for more packages and special offers to be listed as spring approaches.

In addition to continually adding valuable information about what makes British Columbia such a great dive destination, we have just started working with talented local artists to produce a beautiful selection of West Coast works of art, including paintings, sculptures, posters & prints, scuba diving t-shirts and other creations.

Through images and art, we hope to show and promote how incredibly wonderful it is to visit and dive in British Columbia.

We plan to have a selection of items available for viewing and purchase shortly.

Our Goal:

Our goal at CoolDives is to become known world-wide as the source for information about diving in British Columbia.

To do that, we need you to continue sending in your comments, suggestions, dive reviews and photos.

And please spread the word by forwarding this to your dive buddies, and let’s all promote British Columbia as the best place to dive on earth!

Help Wanted – Help Us Help Divers:

CoolDivers – we need your help! In order to provide more quality dive information, we need you to submit more scuba photos and reviews.

Please take a few moments to complete the on-line review form, and help promote safe diving in British Columbia.

Coming Soon - The HMCS Annapolis:

Coming soon - sinking of the Annapolis (Photo by ARSBC)Another exciting diving event planned for 2009 is the sinking of the former HMCS Annapolis.

This great new addition to our collection of professionally prepared artificial wrecks is currently undergoing preparations for its final journey. The ARSBC, who is coordinating this project, needs volunteer divers and non-divers to help prepare the ship. Be a part of history and give this great organization a day or two of your time.

We have partnered with Blue Adventure Diving of Vancouver to put together one of the first dive charters to the Annapolis after the ARSBC opens the ship up to the public.

Sign up now to claim one of the remaining spots to get in on this major event, and then return later to see how fast this becomes a new home for our great marine life.
