The Inlet is sheltered, generally has very good visibility, and has interesting marine life at all depths, which is great for beginner to expert divers. While there are many interesting shore dives and boat dives in the area, three favorite dives include: - White lady (which offers a playful seal colony, depths for all levels of divers, and lots of marine life), - McCurdy Point (which is a beautiful wall dive with lots to see at all levels, and has some of the area's famous cloud sponges), - and Senanus (which is a beautiful but deep dive for more advanced divers and is the best place in the area to see the local cloud sponges).

Besides the intimate dive lessons and charter services they offer at the Brentwood Bay Lodge and Spa, which is only around 15 minutes away from downtown Victoria, Victoria International Airport and the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, there are also the following amenities:

There is also a small marine head, as well as the standard emergency gear.
They also can be booked for dive charters to the nearby Gulf Islands if you give them enough advance notice.
In addition to professional dive lessons, they have good quality scuba equipment rentals, including sea-scooters which I would love to try! In addition to loads of power, the dive boat has plenty of room out back for up to 8 divers to gear up in the back, and a heated cabin for their 'cooler' diving days.
After your dives, there is a rinse station for your dive gear on the dock, and warm showers are available in the marina.
