Local Scuba Diving Stores For Diving In British Columbia

Our local scuba diving stores are great sources of information, scuba dive equipment, scuba dive lessons, and scuba diving trips.

With some of the world’s best scuba diving right at our doorstep, British Columbia has attracted many top quality, professional scuba diving stores, equipment retailers and charter operators. When I won a trip to Waikiki a few years ago, I knew this would probably be my one and only chance to scuba dive in Hawaii.

I spent hours on the internet trying to find the best scuba dive outfit – with great scuba equipment, dive boat, experienced dive master, best locations to dive, etc.

After hours of looking for reviews and comments from other divers, I made my choice and booked my dives.

Well, the dives were great and we even spotted humpback whales along the way, but many things weren’t as described on their website.

When I saw the facilities of the company that was my second choice, I wish I chose them instead.

Oh well – lesson learned. There is nothing better than seeing what you are getting first hand. Or at least, second hand.

While it is only someone else’s opinion, mine (a PADI Advanced diver) and that of my readers, it is always best to hear from someone who has visited the scuba equipment store, met the owners and dive staff, checked out their dive rental equipment, toured their boat, interviewed their dive customers and experienced their service.

That was my goal and the whole purpose of this website. I will initially list the main scuba diving stores, retailers and dive charter operators in each of the three main regions that I have discussed.

As I meet and inspect their operations, I will immediately remove those that I would not recommend.

Those meeting or exceeding my expectations will remain on this site.

Those scuba equipment dive shops and charter operators that in my opinion go above and beyond a high level of service to ensure you have an absolutely wonderful dive holiday will earn a recommendation on this diving information website.
