Scuba Diving Trip - Dive Lodges and Resorts in British Columbia
No scuba diving trip to British Columbia, Canada is complete without staying at a dive lodge/resort in our rugged West Coast wilderness.
Along with our spectacular scenery, incredible marine and wildlife, and many fantastic scuba diving sites, there are also great destination scuba diving resorts and lodges around Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Gulf Islands.
If you truly want a learning dive holiday, where you can experience sights, culture and wildlife like no other place in the world, then I recommend you spend some time reviewing these scuba diving resort web sites and then contact us to help arrange your scuba diving trip:
Awesome diving with Earl and Deb can be found at Abyssal Scuba Diving Trip Dive Charters & Lodge near Campbell River on Quadra Island.
Check out the link above for their CoolDives pricing and full scuba diving vacation packages.
Maybe you'll even meet Captain Crunch?
The Abyssal Lodge is very popular with large dive club groups from local dive stores, so you will need to book now to ensure their availability.
Bathgate Resort & Marina (Sunshine Coast)
Brentwood Bay Lodge and Spa (near Victoria)
The Brentwood Bay Lodge and PADI certified dive resort is a luxury boutique Lodge and Spa near Victoria, and is my favorite place to stay and dive near Victoria.
They have put together a great little 2 night - 2 boat dive package with breakfast for two, and have many other options and upgrades available.
You would really be spoiling yourself and your partner by booking a dive holiday in Victoria at the Brentwood Bay Lodge.
It is really the only luxury, full-service lodge, spa and dive center here, and is worth checking out (or in, I mean). Ask for CoolDives pricing.
The Legendary Browning Pass Hideaway in the Port Hardy area on the Northern tip of Vancouver Island.
- Legendary scuba diving (wall dives, drift dives and more)
- Legendary kayaking, wildlife viewing, eco-and First Nations cultural tours
- Legendary meals and good times
- Considered by some to be the "best cold water diving in the universe"
- B&B style rooms, daily, weekly or longer cabin rentals, boat charters, and legendary all-inclusive scuba diving packages
No scuba diving trip or dive vacation is complete without spending some time exploring this amazing part of the world.
God’s Pocket Resort (Port Hardy, God’s Pocket Park)
Hornby Island Diving & Lodge (Hornby Island 6 gill sharks)
Malei Island Resort (Port Hardy area)
Mt. Daniel Waterfront Resort (Sunshine Coast)
Porpoise Bay Charters (Sunshine Coast)
Rendezvous Dive Adventures in Barkley Sound is a great scuba diving lodge in an amazing wilderness setting.
This was one of the first dive resorts in British Columbia, and the current owners, Peter and Kathy, are great hosts and provide great food and a great location for divers and family adventure-seekers alike.
Their set-up is also great for dive clubs and groups, and we can get you some great CoolDives pricing.
Whiskey Point Resort on Quadra Island - although not a scuba diving resort, this small resort on Quadra Island, across from Campbell River on Vancouver Island, is very diver friendly.
In addition to being near some of the best dive sites in the area, they have clean comfortable rooms, the only swimming pool on the island, a drying room for your scuba gear, and work with several of the local dive charter operators to host many divers.
Rockwater Secret Cove Resort (Sunshine Coast)
Sunshine Coast Resort (Sunshine Coast). This is my favorite spot on the Sunshine Coast.
They have lower-cost hotel type units for those with tight budgets, and luxury chalets and penthouse suites for those with a little extra to spend.
We have more information available at this Sunshine Coast Hotel page.
Be sure to ask for Cooldives 4 nights for the price of 3 pricing when you speak to Ralph.
The Scubashack is a great, 2 bedroom self contained rental cabin near many fantastic dive sites on the Sunshine Coast.
The owner is also a certified divemaster and can help arrange dive lessons, divemaster services, rental gear, and Sunshine Coast dive packages.
Tuwanek One Bedroom rental Suite, near Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, isn't a lodge but is a nice one bedroom rental suite so close to great dive sites, you can literally watch divers head to the Tuwanek Spit shore dive from the deck.
And if you get a picture of Shrek, can you email us a copy please?
